Entered into the Register of Media Entities – Media ID R30-02144 (Decision of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting No. 1611, protocol No. 29 dated 04.12.2023)

Journal is registered in the International Centre of Periodicals (International Standard Serial Number) – ISSN 2224-9281 (Рrint), ISSN 2414-990Х (Оnline).

According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine 07.05.2019 № 612 journal "Problems of legality" is included in the Register of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (category "B") – the Journal may publish the results of Dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Science (PhD) in Legal Sciences.

Journal provided DOI (doi: 10.21564 – Digital Object Identifier) to articles from 2013.

Journal History

The journal of scientific works was founded in 1976 and until 1992 published under the title «Problems of socialist legality» (first printed materials in it, mostly in Russian, he soon became bilingual). In 1993 the journal was renamed the «Problems of legality». It appears 4 times a year.
