Abstract

The article deals with background and the stages of formation the concept of sustainable development, its reflection in legal acts on vegetation adopted by the Soviet Union, the independent Ukraine is shown. The content of the seven tasks and principles of sustainable development that should be implemented to the current legislation for the protection of vegetation.
